Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter I Married A Monster.....

I painted actress Gloria Talbott from the movie I MARRIED A MONSTER FROM OUTER SPACE, using some old headshots from 1958 and a whole lot of imagination from the neck down.

This is acrylic on canvas board at 24 x 36

Naked woman and a cigarette? So politically incorrect. I'm so upset I had to go have one (a cigarette I mean) As ever, great work Woody!

Awwww, you're too kind. I appreciate that. I've been accused (and justly so) of painting almost nothing but boobs and beasts.

Dont worry about that Woody, all the great masters seem to have done much the same thing, but they used the excuse of religion

You're right, David and I agree.....

I usually have one out of a hundred that respond negatively to what I do, but with those odds I will cheerfully continue to do what I do (whatever that is ) Now that I'm semi retired I do what I want to do and if I offend anyone....well....I don't seek the approbation of monkeys

Bro those subject matters are near and dear to my artistic heart, so I thank you and say keep them coming.

Thanks, Carol....

When I was a tiny kid my mom would take me to be baby sat while she posed for Rolf Armstrong, so over the years as I grew up I learned the tricks of drawing mostly (Armstrong was a pastel artist) and artwork became a major means of expression for me in schools and such.

I sold my first cartoon when I was in Junior High school and never looked back.
