Pennywise WIP

What's up guys! I'm Logan, I'm new here. Thought I'd show you guys the start of my next project! Pennywise, 19x19 colored pencil on Strathmore 400 series Toned Tan paper! I'll be posting more progress, just started this yesterday

More progress on this Pennywise piece!! I've been really trying to push how I layer with colored pencil. I'm extremely happy with how it's turning out )

I do not. I start with the lightest tone of whatever color I'm using for a particular part of the piece, and I gradually shade shade layer upon layer. If there's shadow, It's applied toward the end of my layering process. I also HEAVILY rely on complementary colors to create shadows and give some harmony to the values in the piece. Brings a TON of life to whatever I'm doing.
