Parking lot plein-air, from bathroom

I was making a lot of excuses not to paint outside, so i decided to just open the window and go at it!

The sunset bit has been tough due to it not lasting very long, and its been raining. However, my kitty friend is helping me figure it out.

The shadows and some of the proportuons are giving me the works, as is the different colors of the cars out in the shadow. Its been challenging finding the right color temp from inside a bathroom, to outside in warm light, back to inside a cool shadow!

I hope to get it more done in a day or so. Thanks for dropping by! C&C/feedback always welcome

I like what you're doing here, Jon.

Where would we be without cat help?

Cliff, im sorry, but thats not something im prepared to think about confronting.

Really though, thank you and im glad its got some good looks. I made a mis step by not putting canvas on my prepped panel which is making it tricky, but hey, no excuses.

Ah that is 'lush' with the primitive playful-pink windows (house and cars)!
You've also kept everything warm-toned yet gentle.

I so so love this stage!

Utmost blessings!
Philip

It has been pleasurable to do it this way for sure. I might have to start taking random trips and post up in nice rooms facing some scenery. B) Lets go!

Unfortunately, i caught some shine glare here, and couldnt snap another before i headed out, but itll be better on the wrap-up.

Just a few more elements and some tidying & we'll do another one.

Thanks for dropping by, ya'll.

Very nice, I like the perspective. It definitely looks as if you are looking out a window at it.

Re: Parking lot plein-air, from bathroom

Ok, i think i got this closer to where i wanted it feom the beginning.

Snoball, im relieved it feels that way! i had a few different views during it, and measured and placed as best i could with the visual info. I had. (Life only)

Thanks for all the great input and feedback, ya'll. It means a lot.
