Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter Chipping away.

A mixture of long poses and quick line drawings. First some long poses: one hour watercolour and two hour coloured pencils.

We did some one minute drawings last week and most of mine were dismal though I liked this pose:

Two 10 minute poses and one 15 minutes.

Long pose about 45 minutes.

New model last Friday. 10 minute poses and a 20 minute pose.

A long pose of about 2 hours.

Husband and wife posed on Tuesday. These were 15 minutes long.

Three 10 minute poses and one 20 minute.

Finally progress on a sculpture. This is after about 3 hours (though the first hour we had no model so relied on another sculpture of the pose).

Thanks for looking.

Wonderful work as ever, Decartes. Love the two hour study, what a figure to work with!

Re: Chipping away.

Some very nice pieces here. The reclining new model and the husband and wife poses stand out but all good stuff.

Re: Chipping away.

Thanks David. I'm lucky with great models.

Thanks Anthony.

Gordon thanks for the encouragement. I feel I'm on a plateau at the moment and want something to push me off.

Thanks Harry. I want to reduce the details but in particular with the pair of models I thought the interaction between the two including hands and feet were important.

Re: Chipping away.

Thanks Bethany.

Mike thanks. I thought the 45 minute one would be too horizontal but the curve of the support and including drawing it formed a good overall shape.
