Hi all-
Originally posted this in Acrylics and got a recommendation to repost here. The painting is 12" x 12" on a panel. I hope you like it!

Re: Where To Next?

Very nice. I love the unusual composition. Great job on the top of the bus - it really looks like metal. As others have noted, the color is terrific too.

Hey! I met you on reddit. I said "painterly" about this one. Nice to see your work again, great stuff!

Thanks Eric, Annie, Sheryl and Muddy!
I love painting the local trolleys. They’re just so iconic.
Happy Holidays!

Re: Where To Next?

You've taken a common everyday scene in a city and turned it into a wonder with your brush. Really special, Jed!

Re: Where To Next?

Yes I agree, wonderful handling of subject and brush. I like the juxtaposition of colours and line, and in particular, the dynamic angle of the subway car versus the static information board, and man-made machine, vs human figure.

Re: Where To Next?

Thank you very much for noticing! I particularly liked the juxtaposition of the angularity of the modern awning supports and the nice curves of the old trolley.
Happy Holidays!
