The Red Chairs

I just finished this one last night. C&C welcomed.

Watercolors on hot press; about 8x11".

Re: The Red Chairs

Oh how fun! I really like the whimsical feel of this painting! Nice job on the simplified color scheme too, which helps tie it together. Great job!

EDITED TO ADD: But where are the chairs?

Re: The Red Chairs

The red objects in the upper right corner are chairs.

I suppose I should've changed the perspective for them a bit to make it more obvious. I'm still constantly playing with distance and distortion, and in this case I may have pushed it a bit too far?

Re: The Red Chairs

I enjoyed viewing this painting, I like your style. I like the colour scheme throughout and I love the vehicles.

Re: The Red Chairs

Love this distorted style, and found the red chairs immediately. I think it was confusing for others as the chairs and woman's head are all the same width, sort of sandwiched between if that makes sense. Great neutral colors with added warms of orange/red.

Re: The Red Chairs

Love the way everything is kind of wonky but to me that also displays such life and movement in your painting!

Re: The Red Chairs

Oh, that's cool! I like the dream-like scene, and the red stands out nicely.
