Diamond dust source for screen printing?

Recently I saw one of Warhol's portraits where he used diamond dust to give the piece a shimmering effect. I can find powdered diamonds used for abrasives, but I'm not sure if that is what he used. Anyone have experience with and/or a source for diamond dust appropriate for printmaking?

I have a suggestion for you that might be a little less expensive. Reflective glass beads for roads come in a wide variety of gauges.

I'd recommend using mica powder. It's commonly used for the same effect in screen printing. Try looking a McClain's catalog / website.

Mica powder sounds interesting. I'll give that a try. Thanks!
