Ruth's Creations

I'll post all her work here in future.

Ruth (Stitcher) has just finished assembling her latest creation a knitted 3D cot cover, made from 24 panels, one of her best IMHO.

Re: Ruth's Creations

That is lovely. I admire people who can do 24 of the same thing. I had problems knitting 2 socks until I figured out how to do 2 at the time.

Re: Ruth's Creations

In between her more serious stuff she uses up her spare wool to make "quillows" which are granny blankets with a pocket on one side so they fold up to make pillows. They are very well received at the nursing home and by friends.

Here are a few recent ones:

Here's how they fold:

Re: Ruth's Creations

Doug, Ruth's fiber work is wonderful to see. I remember the Quillows - a great idea. Thanks for posting the folding pattern. But I agree that the 3D cot cover is the best of all! WOW.

Re: Ruth's Creations

I don't think I showed Ruth's mini piggies. After crocheting piggie toys she decided to use thinner and thinner yarn until she ended up using embroidery thread

Adorable little piggies. Embroidery floss is a good choice.
