So...these are 2 firsts for me (kinda) I haven't painted a human portrait since college and was very anxious about the dreaded skin tones I remember battling back at school. Most of my portraits came out either dead looking OR very badly sunburned! lol
This was also challenging besides that, because the workable area is about 6x9... which is small for me. I decided to try to keep my brushstrokes more painterly instead of my usual photo realism try.
I think I like it so far, but the true test will be seeing it in the daylight. Instead of lamp light.
Open to any advice or crit.
