I chose Downtown Doors 9x10.25 ink and watercolor sketch as I was learning last year how to use my Lamy Safari pen, and these old doors fit the bill. See link HERE.

Re: BEST of 2016 Watermedia

Well after giving it quite a bit of thought I chose the portrait of my husband because, even though it has many flaws, it was the first portrait I've ever painted and well, it's my husband

Here is the link: http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/show....php?t=1411342

It was done with Derwent watercolour pencils on Canson XL Watercolour paper 9x12.

Here's mine for 2016 - I liked this one because, it wasn't and easy watercolor for me, so it was a challenge, especially rendering all those little white highlights on the strawberries!

25cm x 30cm - watercolor on watercolor paper

Here's mine!

The baby portrait I did of my youngest granddaughter. The first portrait I have ever done! Using a faint monoprint, overlaid with watercolour pencils, inks and dry pastels.
