PhotoPlus

I don't see any information about PhotoPlus by Serif here. btw, I'm not getting anything from them for posting this.

I have been using PhotoPlus by Serif for at least a decade and love it. It's VERY similar to Photoshop and works just as well but is a LOT cheaper. Old versions can be downloaded free. I now use v.X7 which I bought years ago for $80 and I just can't image anything I would like to add to it. Like I said, it's been around a long time and is upgraded regularly to include most of the Photoshop options. The workspace is similar too so there's not a lot of learning curve with the program if you are already familiar with Photoshop.

It's just such a great program and so cheap that I had to say something. It seems that most people here use Photoshop and I just don't see any reason for paying the high price or the new monthly rental commitment. Are there no Photoplus users out there?

Re: PhotoPlus

Thanks very much for mentioning it, I've never heard of it but I'm going to check it out.
