Crack in the Clouds X Post Pastels

Hi All. I'm new here. Hoping for some feedback on the balance of forms and colors in this painting. Thanks. 19"x 19". Pastels on terraskin.

this is really lovely, not sure how i missed seeing it until now!

posting a 'flipped horizontally' view, only because 'they' say, compositionally, that it's nice to lead viewers in from the left, tho i don't think it's necessarily better - if one was doing a series it merely provides an alternative.

I love this

Your photo has a bit of a blue haze, that is desaturating your yellows if I am correct? I did a fast colour correction, I believe this fits the original a bit better?

Sorry I didn't respond sooner.
Thanks for the different point of view, La. The flipped version is effective. I tend to go right to left - maybe because I'm left handed -I'll try that next time.
Thanks for pointing out the bluishness Jeroen. My original doesn't seem so blue so I'll retake the photo with that in mind.
Thanks Maryinasia! I'm glad you like it.

Very lovely with the drastic composition - one very very low horizontal. Personally I like paintings that break the rules and still work. Had the horizontal been 2/3 or 3/4 down it would have been very boring indeed.

I love the depth at which you placed the clouds. This is really nice.
