Lightbulb Bead Palette

Hi, I am usually hanging out in watermedia. I am always looking for better ways to get my beads out where I can see them all and use them more. Frustrated with tackle boxes, that have removable dividers that always seem to lift up and let the beads merge together. Plus they keep everything out of sight where I have to go digging through them.

I have been using these large, very sturdy Robax palettes for years for watercolors, and had one extra one, that I thought would be just perfect to make a palette for my 8mm beads. This is the 64 well palette, and it comes with a sturdy lid to keep the dust (and cats) out! Each well holds about one strand of 16 in. 8mm beads. You can even get a carousel to rotate the palette around.

Here is where I found it

Re: Bead Palette

I have the same problem! That works very well. I have also used egg flats that stack but since they are made of cardboard, they don't last forever. I like your idea better!
