Beautiful pictures!
Are these yours? You've taken some really nice vacations!

That bighorn sheep looks hungry enough to eat the photographer, though...I wonder what his story is?
Perhaps there was a drought at the time, or maybe he's an advanced age (look at the size of his horns!), and has tooth trouble, preventing him from eating enough...hmmm...

Thanks for posting!
D.

Re: Weekly Inspirational Pictures August 19-26

The photos are all mine, from a trip to the US (Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona) I took last month.

The bighorn sheep is very old, my guess would be around 15 years. He didn't seem to be in any pain or discomfort, just slow and old.

Good squirrel Rainy! Sort of like looking thru a window screen at him... free, while we work indoors, LOL!

Lovely photos and awesome squirrel rainy.

The second rock photo is kinda like what youe would see in the northern terriotry (at the top of australia), similar rich orange and ochre colours. The aboriginals grind the rocks to use for their body paint.

Thanks rainy and debby. I used tombow and pitt coloured pens for the landscape. I couldn't resist drawing the robin as well.

Lovely sketches from everyone

Toowoomba, I tried and failed miserably to draw those rocks. Your version is gorgeous, you captured the orange glow very well!
