Good morning, Virginia and Greg. Nice colourful start to the day here. Thanks, Greg!
I've been chasing Evening Grosbeaks around my yard this morning from the front feeder to the back feeders. Unfortunately, Gypsy has been doing the same thing with the little Pine Siskins

I'm gonna bell that cat!

Am still sorting and unpacking boxes. Got slowed down with some that needed hauled out to the garage but are too heavy for me. My daughter will come this weekend to help me with them. She is back to work full time now so her helping time has been greatly reduced. Bummer.
I had put two of my four bookcases in the dining room and had mostly filled them but noticed they were not an exact match - one was slightly bigger than the other and the kick plate at the bottom was different. I was going to leave it but it drove me nuts every time I looked at it - bothered my "eye", so last night I unloaded the offending one (seems I have three the same and one odd one), unscrewed it from the wall and switched it for a matching one (which also needed unloading) and now I have to finish screwing them back so they won't topple over on some unsuspecting person and get them reloaded.
Either today or tomorrow I am going back over to the House From Hell to do some more work over there - depending on how hot it gets. Still have to get the rails for the spare bed so I can finish setting up that bedroom which, (at the moment) is also my "office". It's getting rather crowded in here, though, and I still want to add a bookcase. While I am over there I'll get the red wagon and bring it back here. It'll be handy for unloading the van, moving boxes and stuff to the garage and a wealth of other things.
Hope everyone's day goes well. Hugs are replenished ... you know what to do with them
Cheers,
Sue
