over the clif
This was done in Painter 12 with oil type brushes. The reference was taken over 30 years ago and I finally got around to painting it.
All comments and critiques Welcome. How else do we learn!
Thanks for looking

Re: over the clif
I agree, you have gotten a great sense of distance. I love the far away, (almost not visable) hills.

Re: over the clif
Thanks everyone! I am finally starting to loosen up ( Yea, for me this )
I actually made some minor changes to the mid mountains and added a little bit of color to them. I'll have to post that. Not much of a change but just enough to dollow the color to the middle hill.
But again, thanks for the feed back. Coming from you guys it means a lot!

Re: over the clif
I want to know what you think of painter 12? I have not upgraded, have heard bad things about the new UI and there always seem to be bugs when new releases come out, have they fixed any bugs? What do you think of it?

Overall I really like it. They had a shakey start with crashes but that seems to have been corrected. I really love the new Real Watercolor brushes and I like the new interface, but that could be me. I still find my self saving much more frequently because the real watercolor is a major resourse hog. You do find yourself sitting and watching paint dry before you can go on. I now have a CPU monitor gadget on my desktop that is invaluable. But that is the only problem I have had. I have had no other problems , like The interface and the other changes and am over all happy. Hope this helps

Re: over the clif
Helps a lot thanks! I used to have the lagging thing before my last computer upgrade and I went top-of the line "gaming-style" computer and it has no issues with graphics at all.
