Advice or any idea please?

Hi I took this picture of a lynx in a park but the lynx was in the dark on a tree 20 meters from me and the grill was in the sun so even with max aperture and 300 zoom I couldnt gert rid of the grill
I tried to fix it in psd by duplicating the bg erasing the fence on the top layer and playing with the adjustments on the bottom layer
I got the result below I wanna know if there is a better way to do that aor a plugin in order to get a better result I still can tweek a little more but i guess there is a better way

Thanks
Robert

Re: Advice or any idea please?

Just so you don't feel ignored: I like the concept of the shot, what you already did may work if you consider doing a close crop, perhaps creating a square format with a mid green olive frame/mat around it. That would eliminate the offensive bar on the left, and i suspect the light fog may then appear 'natural'.

next time you could bring a tall stepladder? stilts? trampoline?

Attractive animal. I can understand why you wanted to capture it on film.

Greg

Re: Advice or any idea please?

I would crop it as well, then sharpen it a bit.
Beautiful animal, and I love the pose you captured.

Re: Advice or any idea please?

Good shot and it was nice of him/her to pose for you and give a little head tilt. Good advice from Greg.

When I take these kind of shots I put my lens right on the fence, if possible, and shoot through an open spot. That takes care of any blur.

I think you have done all that is possible to save it. Nice Photoshop work!

Yes, that is the usual case. Darn good final from what you started with!

Excellent use of PS.
A finished product worthy of an award.

Re: Advice or any idea please?

The final version is quite nice. I wasn't sure it could be salvaged (I could learn more about Photoshop!) but you came away with a keeper. Now I know who to ask when I have a PS problem!
