The 16th annual Cray-Pas Wonderful, Colorful World Contest is under way, and we'd like to invite all US and Canadian K-8 teachers to submit student oil pastel artwork to win art supplies and prizes for your classroom and your students.
Sakura created the Cray-Pas® Wonderful, Colorful World Contest in 1995 to encourage creativity and expression in children. The contest supports young artists, rewards students, gives youth art national recognition, and supports art education.
150 contest winners, their teachers and schools are awarded prizes from Sakura and the following contest sponsors: American Artist Magazine, Artograph, Arts & Activities Magazine,
Blick Art Materials, Canson, C-Thru Ruler, General Pencil, Meininger Art Supplies, Michaels, Nasco,

The artwork deadline for the 2011 Cray-Pas Wonderful, Colorful World Contest is December 10, 2011.
