Re: Dick Blick
I have the full set of Daler-Rowney pastels. I love them. I use them when I want different colors than I find in the Rembrandts, and when I want something in the same category, but with the unique feel that I find with the Daler's. I also have about 75 of the old, small and very thin Daler-Rowneys, which are great for when you need more accuracy and detail. I always have some of their larger size, fat pastels. Great stuff.
QUESTiON:
I have the full-monty from Great American. Wonderful colors, square pastels. I only used a few of them so far, because the ones I have used, especially the whites, seem to crumble as soon as I get them to the paper. With so many fabulous reviews of their pastels, does anyone else in the world have this problem with the Great Americans?
