Re: Pricing of individual pastels vs. sets

I just checked the prices of individual sticks of FC polychromos and compared them to their sets at www.fineartstore.com
A stick costs $1.20 and their set of 60 costs $122.
Is that even real????!!?!!?!!!?

Chances are this pricing decision was made by fineartstore or the importer, not FC. All FC products (unless in wood boxes) come a little bit cheaper in sets than individually, and while I haven't calculated an exact number, the procentual savings seem to be the same with all retailers, online or otherwise. Of course that may not be true once they get exported to other countries... That said, $1.20 is pretty cheap for the Polychromos...

I've discovered similarly strange pricing, no idea where that comes from either...
