Re: Different Strokes: Acrylics Forum Project, November
Well it's 4.00pm on Friday afternoon here, so I guess it's time I posted (although I hate being first!)
My painting is 10x8inches and was painted on Canvas Acrylic Painting Pad.
I used Atelier and Winsor & Newton Acrylics. I welcome comments and suggestions as I need all the help I can get. I know the reflections aren't done very well but they kind of got away from me! I was pleased with the pattern on the table-cloth though (that was a happy accident.)
Thanks for looking.

Great job, Viv.
I think I'm done, but will wait to photograph it in the daylight tomorrow.

Re: Different Strokes: Acrylics Forum Project, November
Since the posting has begun, thought I would add mine now as well. 12x12 gallery wrapped canvas, image wrapped around the edges. I skipped both the heavier reflections and the tablecloth. I thought I would spend too much time tweaking the tablecloth, so skipped it by zooming in on those candies I love (I want to eat that round pink one!). I tried the reflections but they looked all wrong, so I painted over them & left only subtle reflections. - Nan

Wow everyone loves candy, never try these one though.
Viv, beautiful, love your table cloth and the plate too.
Steve, yours is so inviting, lovely assortments and beautifully done.
Nancie, may I try your pink one too, beautifully done and what is that in the center, soft filling?

Re: Different Strokes: Acrylics Forum Project, November
Here is mine on paper for acrylic size about 24cm X 32 cm
The left reflections and table cloth need some fixing I guessed.

Thank you for looking

Great work everyone...Bravo!
Here's mine. I've been sitting on this one since the 4th or 5th of the month. I really liked the reference.
It's 6x6 inches on Strathmore 400 series Acrylic Paper.

WOW! You have all done such wonderful paintings! I was too chicken to do the reflections, so I played with the cool shapes and colors of the candy.

Re: Different Strokes: Acrylics Forum Project, November
wow I love all the work that has been posted!! It is really neat to see how you crop or alter from the original. I kept mine fairly the same, but changed the angle some. Signchick, I love it! it reminds me of a Cezanne.
well here is mine.
