Yes... It was very sad news indeed. I did have the pleasure of meeting Jo in person... She was a lot of fun and had a delightful smile. We'll miss you Jo.

I am truly going to miss hearing from Jo. She was always so caring and concerned about those around her. Truly she will be missed by so many of us...

I am sure that Jo found at this site a place where she could be accepted and could join with fellow artists and work towards becoming the better artist she always wanted to be. The bunkhouse was another home within a home and these are the places that gave her such pleasure.

Maybe there is some comfort in knowing that we won’t need wings now. For I am sure that when it’s our time, Jo will be up there with that ROPE (my Rope!) ready to haul us all up to join her.

Very sad news, I will miss her and her teasing.

I am sorry to hear this.

I don't lurk through WetCanvas as much as I once did. But I remember Jo. She lived in my neck of the woods, sort of, I think. Commerce, Ga? in that area, correct?

In another context, Jo and I were particular friends, and I shall miss her dreadfully. My prayer is that she will soon be enjoying being the artist she always wanted to be.

I had noticed not seeing her on the forums as much but I didn't realize she was ill. She gave me a few words of encouragement over the years - so sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family.

I haven't been around much over the past couple of years, but remember all the fun we had with the ACEO Challenges.. She is a very special lady, and this is such sad news to be reading. My thoughts are with her family & all her friends
