Shirley, that vessel is just STUNNING! Very Beautiful!
Carrie, I like the ideal, maybe try a 2 part epoxy? Is it flat enough so there isn't any "pressure points" like where you could pressure and snap it off? I find when I am work with watch parts, I have to file and see if it rocks at all before glueing, I really like/hate E-6000. Pretty Bracelet!
Rita, you are really doing great with the lampworking, I love the skull! And the heart is adorable.
Paula- So well put together. I like to color combination, and it really flows, very pretty!

Shirley - the vessel is awesome! I LOVE the colours and the watery leaf with it! Love your bead, too.

Rita - cute beads, the skull looks as if it's filled with smoke.

Carrie - neat bangles, the b&w one is my fave! And the long necklace looks fab, if your friend still doesn't like it you can just send it here!

Paula - great necklace, I love how the lampwork, copper and magnesite (or is it howlithe?) all go together.

Carrie, She better love it after all that!!! LOL, told you what she wanted, but not really. Silly woman!!!!

Here are my beads from last night. Still not feeling great, but better, so I decided to make as many beads as I felt like with no pressuring or demands on myself to produce. I spent nearly 1-1/2 hours making three beads. I don't know if I like any of them, but I played with reactive colors and silver foil and had fun.

Carrie, I love your little pendants, especially that cute Kitty. Nice Heishi, and that pink awareness bracelet is really a winner. I got my beads back from the gal who is annealing them from me and that orange bead will be making its way to Iowa next week.

Rita - cool focal, and I love the red-eyed skull!

Carrie - lovely pieces. My favourite is the silver heishi necklace, I love the simplicity of it.

It was a great week of show and tell don't know I missed it but Carrie I love your little kitty pendant.

Gee I must of missed a whole page.

Andee ask - magnesite (or is it howlithe?) about my necklace. I have no idea they called it white turquoise.

Looking forward to this weeks S&T.

Re: S&T Weekly January 25 - 31, 2009

Everyone has shared many great beauties. This was a very productive week, new beads from Dawn, Pam & Rita, great designed jewelry from Carrie, Andie, Paula, Angela, Deb, and those great felted vessels of Shirley's are stupdeneous. Every spare moment that I am at home, away from my job, I spend working on the jewelry for the Heritage Center gift shop. I am now working on bead work around some cabachons and making them into pendents, hopefully soon, I can take one evening and do some pictures of what I've done. Keep up the great work everyone.
