You asked about the Marsains. Funny thing, may sound weird, but at my present state of artist preference....I don't like figures or anything man or alien made (fences, barns, buildings, etc.) in my paintings. I like to express cosmic evolution without the influence of man. Eventhough man is apart of that evolution. It's wierd, ....I will see a really cool landscape in a gallery, and be erked by the barn, deer, or house.
I know that most artist believe that a figure, a road, or a fence, can lead the eye and tell more of a story. I think (at this time in my artistic development) that a painting without these influences has more of a mystery. It leaves an endless road of imagination to run freely.
My painting could be Mars, or a place in one of Dr. Zues' worlds, or just a nutty concept.
