Permanant jewelry and permanent art adornment

I decided to try the permanent ring thing again! I bought another titanium ring to force onto my thumb, this one is a half size bigger than the last one I tried. A size 12 fits my thumb normally and this one is a 11. I iced my thumb, put dish soap on it and slowly worked the ring on. The ring at first seemed very tight but still OK but the next day it seemed to hurt more and still was very tight and quite uncomfortable and I thought it might have to come off (most likley by cutting) Today it seems a little more comfortable but it is still quite tight and there is a tiny bit of swelling but not like the last ring. It looks like the ring is kind of compressing my thumb and making itself a groove so I hope it loosens a tiny bit and becomes somewhat comfortable!
