what happened

does anyone know what happened to the monthly classes? plz tell me if they continued on another page or anything. they helped alot and i cant find any past the date 2006.

Having a class depends on having a member with the skill and TIME to put one together & lead it. WE don't always have someone who can do this every month. There is a sticky at the top of this page for the July 07 class on painting from photos. I thought there had been some others, but I don't see them listed in our sticky thread for the wc Handbook & Classes. There also have been a number of Challenges & Invitations to Paint. While not formal classes, they do provide an opportunity to paint a common subject with others. This forum is so active, sometimes you have to go back many pages to find posts older than a month.

Click on the Links in my signature line. The Challenges are always open and in the Learning Zone link you will find all the classes..

Yes, Classes depend on volunteer tutors comimg forward. If you have ideas for a class please contact CharM who is co-ordinating the series.

All the previous classes are still available.

The last class was in July and was about using photographs in your paintings without being a slave to them. You can find it here. The homework thread is also still active. Lots of very good info there.

Oops, I just notice that the Class has been made a sticky at the top of the Learning Zone.
