It was like watching a movie.
I'm contemplating going again this year. I could fly into Hartford (thanks JD), rent a car and drive to Putney. It's so tempting ... but there's also the portrait thingy here.
Vermont was so much fun though. Where else could could you see a bearded man in camouflage, riding a bicycle in the middle of nowhere, with a bow and quiver of arrows on his back?
Or having dinner at a local watering hole, with guys at the bar talking about their deer-hunting experiences, while cracking (Canadian) Austin Powers' jokes?
