Re: easel or table?

Hi there Nana:

In response to your questions -

1- pastel painting on a drafting table can produce 'sleeve-in-the-pastel' problems - most of the year I paint with short sleeves, hense no problem but when it gets cold I wear a special smock for pastel work with tight fitting 'velcro' sleeves(custom designed by me) - it keeps the dust off my undercloths and prevents 'sleeves in the pastel' - I'm sure you can fabricate something with velcro sleeves.

2- of course, the right side is the creative side - without an MRI of your brain, I can't find the button, but its there ! I've seen your work, and its really nice - you don't have to worry about not having creativity - I personnally like innovation - trying new things, materials(i.e...innerfacing), methods - it just comes naturally!

3- pastel dust - since you do not have a large sink, the next best is the floor- when spring arrives, you sweep the dust outside into the garden - it's good for the rhubarb....

let me know how you like your 30 degree table and velcro sleeves and in the spring, the tall stalks of rhubarb!.............'bluefish'
