Pics of my exhib - 4 images
Hi everyone. Someone asked me to post pics of my exhib that I set up on Wed. and which runs for a month.
These are all acrylic, and all except for the lady with the shawl, are done mostly with my fingers. Must have been deprived of finger play when I was a kid lol
Pics are not the sharpest unfortunately.
The title and the theme of the exhibition is "Elegance" and all canvases are 22 x 28 inches except the smaller one.
Posted here because this is where 'home' is

Hello Lulu! These are wonderful! No brushes? Do you use acrylics in a watercolor type technique? No matter your childhood deprivation, what beautiful work...

Wow LULULU!!!! Super work - so colorful and though evoking. You could fit right in with the "Foothills Colourists!!!".

Kevin, the lady with the shawl is done in acrylics with w/c effect, also four of them have 'runs' that I do by spritzing them with water.
This is another done loosely with a big brush in watercolour style - wish I'd kept it for the exhib but I weakened when someone wanted to buy it.

Oh Wow oh Wow!!! Lulu, these look fantastic displayed together... And they are definitely Elegant!!! I haven't seen the one you sold... I love the drips on it... the ladies look as though they're wearing elegant scarves... Your control of this medium, even if it is ac***ics ( ), is masterful! |
