Spring at the Lackawanna State Park

Went back to the dam at the State Park to meet Joanne on Sunday so she could finish her bridge painting--which I hope she will post. Cody and I picked a spot a bit further up the hill from the last one and decided to leave out the bridge. The trees in the city are leafed out enough to be fully green but out here in the "country" the maples are still orange. Of course, being me, I did exaggerate the color somewhat--can't help myself.

Cody had a great day! We were beside a trail and lots of dogs were out walking with their people. He made lots of new friends and one new enemy.

Oil 14 x 11". C&C always appreciated.

P. S. Looks a little dark on my monitor.

So glad that Cody had a nice day, my pooch is my painting buddy too . And you have a very lovely piece here, just wonderful background pines, they give the piece a stately, solid feel. Lately you've had some really beautiful colors in your work little bits and pieces of color all fitted together like a mosaic or tapestry, beautiful to look at
