2 today

The first is a little boring. I don't know what that whitish circle in the top right of the image is...glare or a smudge on the lens. This was done with the new "seconds" flawed 12" x 16" Guerilla box you see in the setup pic. It is not easy to carry around. I like it for its storage and ability to hold larger panels.
It can also put a lot of stress on a tripod and wobble a bit with heavy strokes.
Overall I settled into it nicely, but is definitely a specialty box for me.
The second is of mark (MFER) doing his second of the day.
That is 9" x 12" and done on my homemade box.
thanks,
Jon

Not boring at all Jon. Nicely done. Looks like the sun was off to the upper right according to the painting, must be a sun spot on the lense.

Jon,

That first one is certainly NOT boring - it is a wonderful painting. Again you've
done a marvelous job with the water. If anything, I'd say the second one
is a little more boring, but just because the focal point is smack dab in the
middle of the painting. My eye tends to go right to the painter and sits there.

I like them both, I like the little distance views better, with their values. Lori

Curious as to why you think the first one is boring??? I don't think it is at all--it looks like the brushwork is smoother than you sometimes use but the composition and colors are very interesting.
