Re: Scavenger Hunt # 466
Joe, the pot is terra cotta. Good find on the glove! I like the "red" pebble pot, too!
I didn't sketch today. We traveled to Arizona. Sierra Vista. It was hot, but you can be cool in the shade, that is different than our humid hot at home!

Thankīs to you all for your nice comments .
If i look back on this sheet itīs a fast speed work in two workflow times ...itīs not taken deep in the single objects itīs more a jump from one to the next and the phone watch timer in the back.I did this challenge to me just to keep practice , for Plein Air sketch a great advantage ...
@JF nice sketched red pot ..
@Jo well done , about the Hilti red this is the red i know handy-work is ongoing .
Cheers W.P.

Re: Scavenger Hunt # 466
I sketched at the Hotel here in Sierra Vista, Arizona and the table is at Roger's.
The first two I already posted, forgot to crop. Micron 03 and watercolor in the regular travel sketchbook
Number 6, something you eat on bread
Number 7, from the bathroom basin - hair dryer at hotel
Number 8, on the dining table - red pears in a glass bowl.

Re: Scavenger Hunt # 466
Great job everyone.
I haven't been doing any art except a monthly atc trade with a small group. And staying very basic. I watched some parts of a class on Strathmore sight. It is by a guy who uses markers but his drawing parts are pretty interesting. He has drawn people from a site called: Iamchicago.net. I'm sure the photos are copyrighted so I won't be able to post my work but I am starting to use them to sketch for practice. At least it will keep me busy.
Hopefully I will get to drawing some of the hunt items. Keep up the good work.

Good job everyone! We are finally back from our trip to Venice. I did a tremendous amount of sketches and paintings. Sorry I couldn't participate here too. I will be back for the next hunt which I am hosting.

👋🏼Jeanne & Joan. 👋🏼. Good to see you both!!
Hey Jeanne, if you make copy of copyright work for practice it is legal and am sure if you post it as a 'copy' with credit to source that is fine. You are not using it commercially and you are promoting their work. We want to see what you are doing! 👍🏼👍🏼😎
Keep sketching all

Re: Scavenger Hunt # 466
Managed a few sketches today...
1 - light as as feather, well a (quail) feather - graphite and coloured pencil
2 - something at the kitchen sink - graphite, ball point pen and wc
3 - bulb - garlic - graphite and ball point pen
I'm getting into this drawing with my black ball point pen! Bonus is that it is water proof!

Charne, love the feather. Fun to find an art tool you like! Nice bottle and bulb!

Thanks Jo!
I really like how you did the lace curtain! I instantly saw it for what it is.
