Clouds on ipad
As we were travelling I was looking at the clouds and thinking about how I would paint them. And then it hit me that I could pick up my ipad and do that!
Procreate.

Re: Clouds on ipad
Thank you Kenny, Doug, and bryn!
Doug, I will copy the message I sent you here.
There is no quick and easy way that I know of, I put it on the computer first. In Procreate there is an option to send to itunes, where I can choose to save in a few file formats. Then when I connect the ipad to the computer and look under apps, I can access my paintings there and copy them to the computer. Then I use photoshop to resize for posting online.
Nice to see you posting Kenny. When will we see some paintings from you?

Hi LavenderFrost,
Love those clouds!
Just curious, can you tell me what Procreate is?
I'm puzzled because that was the name of Corel's division that handled the release of Painter 7 (or Procreate Painter 7).
Thanks in advance.

Re: Clouds on ipad
Procreate is an iPad drawing app. Here's a better demo.
There are numerous drawing apps.

Re: Clouds on ipad
Hi Yorky,
Thanks! I enjoyed watching the videos and wonder if Procreate might have been based on Painter 7 or one of the later versions of Painter, after Corel stopped using the name Procreate.
The brushes and the way they work certainly do look familiar, though any good painting app in the hands of someone who knows what he/she is doing would look as familiar. That is, as far as the look of brushes goes if they're designed to mimic real drawing and painting tools.
I love the way this artist works.
Again, many thanks for the info and links to the demos.

Re: Clouds on ipad
Thank you Jin, and thanks Doug for supplying an answer. This procreate is made by Savage Interactive, that's all I know.

Thank you, LavenderFrost!
I'm guessing the name thing is probably just a coincidence.
Keep on painting those clouds. They make me happy. ;o)
