Girl with yellow flowers

Done from an image I found on the web. 12 x 16" oil on canvas paper. I haven't a clue what kind of flowers they are (I would like to include this info in the title) - anybody know?

LOvely portrait. Were it mine, I'd reduce the chroma of the flowers as they seem to me to take precedence over that beautiful face that you've painted.

I think her skin tones could be lighter, but nice painting.
I agree, the flowers could be toned down also.

I made deliberate choices for the skin tones and flowers - maybe they were the wrong ones..... :-(

I think you can paint they way YOU want to paint.
There is nothing wrong with noting other artists opinions.
If everyone just states that it is a good painting, then you don't hear feedback to help you grow as an artist. Just my opinion.

Absolutely beautiful, such a sweet girl. I love that you painted her eyes such a bright blue, it goes lovely with the yellow.
