cb, glad you liked it! I believe those are the originals at the James Gray Gallery; the other I posted, Exotica, was used for the cover art for a Martin Denny compilation of the same name.

Lawrence: meretricious, that's a good word! (and a better pun) His work generally or the MM? I'm not a huge fan in general but I'm a sucker for anything related to lounge/exotica/tiki culture, or about anything of that era from WB cartoons to AbEx to beat literature to bebop. Comes from being a child of the '50s I suppose.
