Nice control of your values and atmo perspective. For where you are headed, I think of pines, meadows, blue tarns and lots of granite. I've hiked all of them at one time or another with Touloume being a perenial favorite.

Beautiful photo! We are packing out of Red's Meadow at Mammoth Lakes and climbing about 2000 feet and eight miles in to Garnet Lake. We will be along the John Muir Trail. I will drive by and wave to you!
