Re: Project Discussion: Black & White
Apologies to everyone! Summer is such a whirlwind of activity that it has been hard to get back to looking and commenting on this project! I think I have notified all those that I have received a card from ... recently it has been Kurlie and khinchowin888! I love them all! Such a lot if different styles and subject matter!!! You have all done a fine job with your imaginations and creations! Love it! I will try to be more attentive and comment individually on those I like the best! I need to get back to the drawing board and get the rest of mine done!

Re: Project Discussion: Black & White
I'm really curious ... why do the "Thumbnails" come up so huge??? Our ATM cards are meant to be viewed no larger than 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches and blowing them up huge on the viewing page really does them injustice! Is there a way to send them so they stay small? At least no larger then the size they were drawn? Some ARE right while others are way too big! HELP!!!

Re: Project Discussion: Black & White
Carolyn, its the size of the pic on your computer. On mine I do 2 copies - one to post that I discard after having done that - and that is a copy that I have decreased in size - usually about 90 kb but to get better definition on my own computer the original scan might be 600kb. So the smaller the pic the more it comes down in size on the gallery version. Hope that helps you.

Yup, Sue is right. It's the size that they're loaded at which is up to the person loading the image.
When I resize my pictures for Wetcanvas, for ATC's, I make the largest size 500 pixels, that works out to a good size for them. Or at 90kb like Sue's that a good way to size too.

Regarding this entry --> http://www.wetcanvas.com//Community/...ntry_id=102382

This really neat black and white is mine!!! She titled it "Morning Glories". I am not familiar with the medium ... but it is dramatic and very interesting! Thank you Kurlie!

Thank you for letting me know that! I just submit them the size that they come up from the scan I do of them. I will remember to do that from now on! Wonder if I can redo the old ones? I know a picture can be reduced to enhance it's viewing value ... but when you enlarge a small picture ... it usually distorts or reduces it's value.

Thanks to you too! Here I was faulting WetCanvas and it is my own fault! Sorry!
