Welcome, FW. Hope to see you visit often and some of your sketches too.
Thank you, Candace, Jake.
Joe, that girl has incredible hair with spongebob. I've never really watched spongebob before and didn't realize he is afraid of height and speed. Such a great expression on him!
Jake, I wouldn't recommend the China marker. It is super soft and waxy although it goes on a lot of surfaces and has the flexibility of exposing a long lead as you peel off the paper that wraps around it but I am not sure if it will break easily or not. It also doesn't smudge much and totally waterproof.
Last night I finally hung up around 30 pieces of art at our local senior center in an unofficial show. This is the first time I could see my pieces lined up down the wall side by side to compare frames, matting and size and how things look from afar and learnt a lot just hanging up the pieces with the two guys who worked with me.
I made a slideshow out of it and hope you would tell me your favorite. In the next few months, the art association I joined will let me hang work at two city halls and I want to send the strongest pieces there with proper matting and frame.
Eventually, I want to be professional enough to have a real one person show that could generate sales.

Didn't do art at lunch. Had to lie down in the car to rest my back.
