Hey all, I recently finished quite an intensive semester. The highlight of my classes was of course Relief printmaking; needless to say I've caught the woodcut bug! Excited to see where this takes me with more practice and experimenting.
I'll start with my very first woodcut, titled "Hustlers, Beggars, and Accordion Players"
Carved on a 8"x10" block of shina plywood on Rives BFK
Skipping to my final assignment I went back to reductive cutting and came up with "Strange Folk"
2 Colour 8x10" woodcut
Thanks for viewing
