Hi All,

I finally have two of my mural pages up and online to share.
The 4 panel Masterbath Walls aren't ready yet, and I'm still painting on it..but do have:

Thank you all for the beautiful murals you have shared. I've loved them.

I've been so busy the last week trying to put this together, and suddenly have another cat! one that is terrified and wasn't treated well.

Okay, finally a moment...this bathroom window didn't afford much privacy. I have never used this medium before. All the steps and up close work are at the link. I did two other windows in the house, but haven't got the pictures ready yet. Am working on it. (The new cat is gorgeous, but is he ever a handful.)

This window paint I bought from Michaels. It wasn't easy to use; dripping and full of bubbles,... tedious, but I really like the results. To remove, all I'd have to do is peel it off. It's been up for a little over 2 years, and the colors are still quite vibrant. When the sun shines in the window, it is glorious! Here's the link to the progression.. This is the same bathroom, but after having to tear the entire shower out, I decided to paint a mural around the top area, instead of installing tiles. The shower area is large enough to put a twin bed in it... told dh it would make a great storm shelter with all the new cement walls and the many layers

You did awesome work on your windows!!!! I was going to buy the plastic with the faux stain glass designs on it for my kitchen windows. But they only come in certain sizes and would leave empty space if I centered the plastic on each window. I bought the glass paint to do them, a little luckier than you because I can take down the inside window and do them on a table.
Also on your site for the stove mural...it didn't show any photos just a box with lines where the photos should have been... Love to see it.

I'm still very new -- is it ok to ask you what medium (brand name or type of paints) you used? I hope so!

Donna, I don't remember exactly what these are called. I bought the paint at Michaels, and it is specific, like Stain Glass window paint. It comes in squeeze tubes for about 3.99 each. Be careful not to shake the tubes (bubbles are a terror) and the color is much different when it dries.

Hi Eggshells. Yes, its much easier on a flat surface. The entire thing can be done on glass, then peeled up and pressed to the window.
Regarding the Stove Mural; I haven't gotten the photos online yet, so much to do! But when I do I'll post a note in here.

Carmella, you have done a beautiful job here...even I love to work with paints on glass/mirror. I work with the usual glass paints and oil paints too.

I received an email asking questions about the glass paint (bathroom window www.ahh-feel-good.com Murals link) so I'll cover it here.

Regarding humidity clouding the paint, I have not noticed any clouding. I was initially worried about the extreme heat and humidity we have during the summer, which lasts about 5 months or more, -- but this paint has held up extremely well.. however take into consideration that I applied MANY layers, and let it dry for a couple days between each.

It's been over two years now, and the colors are still brilliant. -- another note, is to wash the window squeeky clean first, --- then I cleaned it again with rubbing alcohol.

The effect of the morning sun on the window, flooding the room with colorful lights, made all the effort worth it. Even with the bubble trubble, I'd use this paint again.
