Your cards are beautiful, Sue. All so well done. I have a soft spot for these little donkeys, and I can see this is an Abyssinian? I can even identify it by the dark stripe over the shoulder.

Re: Project Discussion: Black & White

I'm leaving today on vacation so it will be another couple of weeks before I get my cards out. I tried very hard to get them all finished before I left but work got crazy busy!

Everyones art so far is amazing Diane

This sleepy little chap has arrived and made himself right at home in Carolyn's place. So glad you like him, now shhhh it was a long way and he needs his sleep......

Awwwww! He is resting well in my album! I wake him occasionally to look at the stash of delightful cards I have received! Such a fun exchange!
I only have 7 done so far ... summer is way too busy! I fill in for girls on vacation at the Nursing Home where I work ... Activity Aide ... and of course ... everyone wants to be off work in the summer! I'm still working on them so I hope I can be done by the deadline!

Eileen, I never knew they were called Abyssinian, we always have called them Jerusalem Donkeys because the stripe that runs along their back a bit and the one down the shoulder form a cross. I love this forum I learn so much and its not necessarily art.

This is a baby echidna and they are called Puggles too. He has arrived at Lola's place and found himself a great home!

LOL! I wondered what someone meant when they said "Puggles" ... I was sure I missed a picture of a cute puppy that is half Pug and half Beagle ... my son has one of those! She is also a "Puggle"!!!

And there's a pearl underneath the coral! Every time I look at this I see something different, very clever. Thank you!

Mine! I love him! Sue and I decided he would have soft spikes so that he wouldn't hurt his mama and could have cuddles. Later he'll grow his adult set

I'd love to see the irridescence for real! I can see the coral.....but everytime I look at it I see something different too - the last is a face in the irridescent part - I am wondering if the shimmer makes it like a hologram or just gives you more pics to see in it? Fascinating Bonnie!
