Your cards are beautiful, Sue. All so well done. I have a soft spot for these little donkeys, and I can see this is an Abyssinian? I can even identify it by the dark stripe over the shoulder.

Re: Project Discussion: Black & White
I'm leaving today on vacation so it will be another couple of weeks before I get my cards out. I tried very hard to get them all finished before I left but work got crazy busy!
Everyones art so far is amazing Diane

This sweet little Koala arrived at my house yesterday! Very neat pencil work! You did a great job capturing him! Thank you!

I only have 7 done so far ... summer is way too busy! I fill in for girls on vacation at the Nursing Home where I work ... Activity Aide ... and of course ... everyone wants to be off work in the summer! I'm still working on them so I hope I can be done by the deadline!

Eileen, I never knew they were called Abyssinian, we always have called them Jerusalem Donkeys because the stripe that runs along their back a bit and the one down the shoulder form a cross. I love this forum I learn so much and its not necessarily art.

This is a baby echidna and they are called Puggles too. He has arrived at Lola's place and found himself a great home!

LOL! I wondered what someone meant when they said "Puggles" ... I was sure I missed a picture of a cute puppy that is half Pug and half Beagle ... my son has one of those! She is also a "Puggle"!!!

And there's a pearl underneath the coral! Every time I look at this I see something different, very clever. Thank you!

I'd love to see the irridescence for real! I can see the coral.....but everytime I look at it I see something different too - the last is a face in the irridescent part - I am wondering if the shimmer makes it like a hologram or just gives you more pics to see in it? Fascinating Bonnie!
