How to start acrylic paint lessons?

I am a Graphic Designer and also paint in watercolors, acrylics and lately in oils, my style is realistic with detailed finishes. I am in the Houston, Tx. area and I have a friend who owns a ceramic painting shop, he asked me if I am willing to teach acrylic paint lessons (is more practical than oils) in the shop in order to increase attention from his customers and possible customers to do something different than just ceramics and at the same time be able to show my paintings and possibly sell them, of course I will have to pay him a percentage of the income. He suggested that I could go to the shop, paint something and see if people are interested in taking painting lessons.
The problem is that I've never teached in my life and I don't really know what kind of students could I be teaching to (beginners, intermediates, etc) and if they are really beginners should I teach them how to draw, color theory, etc. or just focus in a project let's say a simple still life and guide them from start to end?, and also don't know how many hours are reasonable to assign to each project again simple, for instance: three apples over a tablecloth simple background.
I have no idea how much to charge for those classes.
Any help and tips will be appreciated.
Thank you so much.
