Marissas Masterclass Results
Had a fantastic 4 days on Marissas masterclass, totaly transformed the way I think about painting and will change me as an artist for the better, couldn't recommend it enough. Here is my piece from it, not quite finished but nearly there.

I'm not sure how much the total cost difference would be, but if possible, I'd take one of Dru's classes instead. Learn from the source, not the person trying to copy the source. just my opinion.

and that my friend is the real issue with atempting to make a carear for oneself after taking a Blair class ,basicly many artists now concider a Dru Blair course the kiss of death for thier own credibility when folk such as yourself seek out threads such as these and atempt to devalue someone elses courses with these totaly unecessary remarks
keep up the good work brian

Re: Marissas Masterclass Results
Nothing wrong with a quantum leap! We should all be so fortunate. We don't all need to have the best teacher possible but if we can learn something from the artist next door we will all be better off. Not everyone has the opportunity to learn from the masters. Many new teachers are still fresh enough to remember points that helped them and will emphasize them from their own peculiar perspectives. Good for you John.
