I am not at all surprised that your Mom-in-Law Loves it, I love it .
Your attention to detail is fabulous and I greatly admire your diligence in creating swatches,practising etc. I do feel it really paid off and you will get faster with practice and with discovering what works best for you

It turned out fabulous! The weathered sides of the lighthouse, the mesmerizing waves of the ocean...makes me want a vacation by the sea!
As a fellow Colorado-dweller, it is nice to see ocean every once in a while!

It's clear I'm my own worst critic! I genuinely would appreciate any
suggestions you may have for improving my work.

Pam - I haven't tried ZestIt, just some Goo-Gone (can't remember if I
used any on this piece). Goo-Gone works great applied with a blending
stump, but I'm afraid it might not be acid free since it's made from citrus
(citric acid). I ordered some "natural" (non smelly) turpenoid, so will try
that sometime.

Candle - yes, I too enjoy those sea-side vacations--the ocean is so far from
us in Colorado...don't get to see it very often, do we?
