Sandra,

There is a lovely serenity about this drawing. I cant say if it is a good likeness as I dont know the reference but dont feel sad about it. Its all about emotion and you certainly have plenty of that in here. Beautifully tender drawing. I'm looking forward to round 2.

Re: ~Sahara Mahala~....Graphite on Bristol

Nice drawings, Sandra. The last one is developing terrificingly ( no don't even try to look up that word in the dictionary ). Play of light and development of core shadow is looking awesome. My small concern would be the size of the eyes. The one on the ( our ) left seems a tad big compared to the other one. Even with the slight turn of the head, I feel that the difference may be a bit more than it should be. Just my observation and I could be wrong.

Sandra,

This is a delicate wisp of a drawing. Your daughter must be delighted with it. Keep up the wonderful work and for those of us hungry to see more please share.

I see nice things happening here. The hatching is working well and you are overcoming the structural problems with the advice you are being given, this is a ground breaking series of drawings for you.

Each stage was a wonderful drawing in itself. It is really quite beautiful. You've gone softer on this one. I'm not going to comment on the little imperfections because you have captured life and beauty and that is more important than any accuracy. You can see she's your Sahara Mahala.
