I like this one. There are many unique objects in the piece. The bottom left reminds me of a privacy fence. But IMHO, the very best part of this piece is the piece of paper with writing on it next to what appears to be a computer monitor.

Nice work!

I have no idea what you're seeing but I'm pleased that you like it and commented. Thanks.

Re: Startled in suburbia. Xpost from acrylic.

Hi bschart, sorry it took a while to get back to you, but we had a big storm come through today and I turned off my 'puter. I hope you don't mind, but I cropped your work to show you what I was seeing.

The bottom left on this part of the image looks like a privacy fence in my neck of the woods...

The next cut out is where I see the bottom left of a computer monitor with the piece of paper laying next to it. The paper is sorta in the middle to bottom right. It has a dark line on the bottom showing the end of the paper.

Now I realize that you probably didn't mean these things to be what I see, but I just wanted to try and point out the areas that made me think what I saw. I had been wondering how to paint a piece of paper (which is why I might see what I'm seeing), but even if you didn't mean it to be that way, I think I now know how to do a piece of paper... Thank you for that.

Regardless of what I see in your piece, it's still a very well done painting. I only meant what I said as a compliment.

thanks,
jumper

jumper- I took your comments as a compliment and I appreciate them. The biggest compliment though is that my piece gave you an idea for your own work. Thanks for that and good luck.
