Re: What's On Your Easel?....May 2012
Finally finished it, it looks much better in person than in the photo. It's going to look awesome mounted on the black board

Re: What's On Your Easel?....May 2012
Graham, what a dynamic view you have there; this is beautiful, and I would love to see that water in person!
LaRubia, if you've only worked on this a day, it's really saying what you need it to say already. But you always manage to send it over the top just when I think what you've done is perfect!
I think I have all the elements as I want them now in my Water Nymph. This photo has some wet spots showing, but I wanted to ask if any of you had suggestions. I was going to put in some dragonflies, but I think I have enough elements going in it. I'm uncertain about the willow behind her - it may be too much of a distraction. Other than those questions, I may have it at the point where I can just relax and do some form polishing(?).

Thank you, Becca! I need to stop and do other stuff, so it's going on the shelf for a while. It's a gallery wrap so I don't need to frame it.

Re: What's On Your Easel?....May 2012
Here's what I've done with mister Sparrow since last time, I need to finish the bandana area and do a little more detailing.
Nancy, Larubia - both absolutely stunning stuff. Larubia can't believe how quickly you work!

Larubia, another awesome portrait! What size do you normally paint? PunkMuppet - Cap'n Jack is looking great!

LaRubia, fantastic color harmony, and her expression is exquisite. You do such beautiful work, but you somehow always manage to top what you've done before!
Punkmuppet, he's really coming along nicely! How big is it?
