Buying Leisure Painter Magazine Through the App for an Android Tablet

Hi: I quit buying Leisure painter/artist magazine because of the inflated price in Canada which is $9.95. I found that there is an app which allows Leisure Painter to be downloaded for $3.00 so thought I'd go for it. However, it doesn't seem to allow a choice of month, so I didn't go ahead and buy it without have a choice of the current month. (so it seemed).

Has anyone else tried to do with with an Android App....

I think you first buy the app, then you buy which month you want and any additional ones as you go,
