My first Mural WIP

Hi Ya'll!

This is my first mural! It is based on my old family home built in the 1800's.

Re: My first Mural WIP

Wow nice!!! Really opens up that space, too... the pics are a bit blurry and the poor gal in the tire swing is sideways, but I get the jist... how long did it take you, and what paints did you use?

Thanks for sharing!

Michele

Keep it up! I know I am going to love it. You have a great start! Don't forget to add those highlights and deep shadows to give the painting punch.

Do acrylics darken? I put highlights and they seem to disappear!

You did a good job with this and it is there to keep a precious memory. I love the girl on the tire swing>

Re: My first Mural WIP

Yes, that is a major drawback with acrylics as they dry darker. Really good job!

Re: My first Mural WIP

I really like this. You did a great job for your first mural. Difficult I understand to do things to scale on such a large space. You used it perfectly and made a memorable painting to be enjoyed for many years.

I don't see alot of recent posts. Are you still doing murals -- and how is that going?
