C&C Please? Warhol Smarties

I took a digital photo of a pile of smarties (then ate them all) and created this popart version using GIMP. All comments appreciated, thanks.

Re: C&C Please? Warhol Smarties

I think it's great, really colourful which does it for me.

I wonder a bit at the composition though. I mean I know there's not much you can do with a pile of Smarties! But if you wanted to add extra areas of interest, perhaps you could consider some clashing smarties in the monochrome panels or even putting a single different sweet amongst the smarties in each panel.

Another thing to make it pop is not have the background as white but as a complementary colour. You could even add a bit of dark outlining to bring the colours forwards.

That sounded like a lot of changes, but I really do like it It would make a great wall art piece on a blank, white wall! I'd like to see more stuff like this, if this is a style you are exploring.
